Amanda Rippen White is a published, award winning photographer with 14 years of professional wedding, portrait, event, architectural and editorial photography experience.  After graduating from Towson University near Baltimore, MD with a BA and a concentration in photography, she began freelancing for various newspapers and magazines in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.  Some examples are USA Today, The Washington Post, The Shore Life Magazine and Coastal Style Magazine.  Since then her work has been featured in over 20 different publications, all of which she contributed work to regularly.  She has also had the joy of photographing over 70 weddings across the Delmarva Peninsula into New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and D.C.

A work opportunity for her husband brought them to Texas for four years where she continued to hone her skills in portraiture.  Very recently another opportunity allowed them to return home to the Maryland and Delaware Eastern Shore to be near family.  Currently Amanda and her husband reside in Berlin Md, near Ocean City Md, an hour from Dover and less than two hours from Wilmington.

Photography has long been a part of her life from the time she discovered the boxes of slide film in her father's closet and became infatuated with the art at the age of 16.  The very idea that the portraits she takes today will be shared with generations to come is what makes her heart shine, and the need to be the best at her craft is what motivates her to never stop learning or trying something new.  Amanda R. White has a passion for creating dynamic, high quality imagery that is unique to each client to best represent their personality and vision.

In Amanda's spare time she enjoys spending time with her two adorable sons and incredibly supportive husband.  They enjoy camping, playing at the beach, gardening and relishing the company of their friends and family.
